VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

Hi, I am the coordinator for the Children's Discovery Museum on the Saskatchewan (CDMS). We are a non-profit group working towards building a children's museum in Saskatoon. For more info on our group, please visit: www.museumforkids.sk.ca

We will be participating in the Fringe festival this summer with our traveling museum exhibits. I am wondering if you could post to your group for volunteers to help at our exhibit. This would be a wonderful opportunity for families to volunteer together, or for older children (13 and up) to come and volunteer. Our exhibit is open from 11-7 the whole week of the Fringe (July 31st-August 9th), and the volunteer hours are quite flexible.

Thanks, and please let me know if you have any questions!

Soccer this Spring/Summer

If anyone is interested in getting together to play soccer again this spring/summer, let’s meet at Grosvenor Park on Thursdays at 1:00. Show up and let the kids divide into teams for a fun game while the little ones play on the play structure. We had lots of fun last year (thank you to past organizers!!) and would love to do it again. We propose a standing date to continue throughout the summer for anyone who can make it.
